Three logo designs have been selected for inclusion into LogoLounge 6 due
to be released in February 2011 by Rockport Publishers
. Judged by an
international panel of name-brand designers, the LogoLounge book series
showcases the work of the world's top logo designers. It is a thrill to be one
of the 2000 logos selected among 34,000 entered from all over the world.

The Taiwan Department of Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA)
and the China Productivity Center have recognized Chris as a Finalist in the
Taiwan International Corporate Identity (CI) Award 2009. Chris' identity for
Fujiken Setsu,
a building contractor based in Japan, was selected by a
distinguished panel of international designers from among 1,750 works.

Pictograms representing 33 Olympic sports have been published in Pictograms
and Icon Graphics 2. Designed for NYC2012’s bid book, the pictograms have
appeared on official merchandise and apparel, transportation, and electronic
billboards in New York's Times Square.

40 jurors from 4 continents have selected Chris’ logo for Architecture for
Humanity as a top 10 finalist from among 812 total entries. Architecture
for Humanity is a charitable organization that seeks architectural solutions
to humanitarian crisis and brings design services to communities in need.

The Downtown Baltimore Identity and Pedestrian Wayfinding System has won
the Award for Communication Excellence for corporate identity and branding.

Chris’ work on pictograms & graphics for NYC2012’s Olympic bid has been
featured in I.D. Magazine’s April issue. The article, titled “Dueling Graphics”
suggests that a well conceived graphic identity may have been the deciding
factor in New York’s selection over San Francisco.

Lapel pins featuring pictogram designs for NYC2012 were the main event at
the NBC Store’s Pin Trading Day. Traders from around the country gathered
to celebrate this Olympic tradition.

Bloomingdale’s unveiling of merchandise, featuring pictogram designs and
graphics, coincided with New York’s formal submission to the International
Olympic Committee to host the 2012 Olympic Games. The product line,
developed to promote support for New York’s Olympic bid, was also launched
at the NBA Store, the NBC Experience Store, Penn Station and area airports.

Chris’ contributions to Central Synagogue’s restoration in the areas of signage
and wayfinding has helped earn the project a Lucy G. Preservation award.
Designed in 1872, Central Synagogue is both the oldest synagogue in
continuous use and a National Historical landmark. It was severely damaged
by fire in 1998.

Citrus Park Town Center was awarded the 2000 SADI for its design work.
Drawing its inspiration from the classic American Main Street, the Center
features ornamentation, signage and graphics found in actual downtown
retail buildings.

Chris’ Red Cross 50th Anniversary poster has been recognized by
HOW Magazine in the form of a Merit Award and publication in their
Self Promotion Annual.
